Er. Sujit Man Rajbhandari

Er. Sujit Man Rajbhandari is a Civil Engineer with more than 20 years of professional experience in engineering education, renewable energy, water supply and sanitation (WASH), local governance, and property valuation. He holds an M.Sc. in Renewable Energy Engineering from the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, and a B.E. in Civil Engineering from Bangalore University.

He began his career in civil engineering and later served as a Lecturer and Coordinator of the Civil Engineering Department at Kathmandu Engineering College, while also teaching Micro-Hydro Power at Nepal Engineering College. In the renewable energy sector, he worked extensively on rural energy technologies under the Rural Energy Development Programme (REDP/AEPC/UNDP/World Bank), contributing to district energy planning, feasibility studies, and the preparation of District Energy Master Plans.

Er. Rajbhandari has extensive experience in water supply and sanitation, including project design, implementation, contract management, monitoring, and coordination with local governments and WASH institutions. He has contributed to major initiatives through the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Fund Development Board (RWSSFDB) and the Department of Water Supply and Sewerage.

He has also worked as an Urban Governance Expert and Monitoring & Reporting Expert under the Local Governance and Community Development Programme (LGCDP/UNDP), supporting municipalities in infrastructure planning, disaster risk reduction, environmental management, and institutional capacity building. In addition, he is a registered property valuator with Nepal Bank Ltd., bringing multidisciplinary technical and managerial expertise to infrastructure and development projects across Nepal.
