
Er. Dhruba Dhital
Er. Dhruba Dhital is a Civil Engineer with more than 35 years of experience in the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) sector in Nepal. He is currently serving as Technical Advisor at the Bhimeshwor Group of Construction Industry, Kathmandu. Previously, he served as a Senior Divisional Engineer under the Government of Lumbini Province, where he led several water supply and sanitation initiatives before his retirement from government service in 2023.
Er. Dhital holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a Master of Science in Construction Management, a Bachelor in Management, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Throughout his career, he has received extensive professional training in water supply, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), groundwater, procurement and contract management, gender mainstreaming, fecal sludge management, and occupational safety and health.
In addition to his technical career, Er. Dhital has actively contributed to professional and community organizations. He is the President Nominee (2026–2027) of the Rotary Club of Tripureswor, Kathmandu, and previously served as President of the Rotary Club of Butwal South. He is also a former General Secretary of the Nepal Engineering Association, Lumbini Sector.
Er. Dhital is a recipient of the Pradesh Sewa Samarpan Padak awarded by the Government of Lumbini Province for his outstanding contribution to the water supply and sanitation sector. He has published research on water resources and authored numerous articles on civil engineering and social issues, reflecting his continued commitment to advancing the WASH sector and sustainable development in Nepal.
