Er. Suman Dhun Shrestha is the Director of the Intellectuals Center (I.C.), a non-profit organization in Nepal, specializing in WASH, Circular Economy, and Disaster Response. With extensive experience across academia, I/NGOs, and the private sector, he has played a pivotal role in advancing knowledge and partnerships. Notably, he facilitated the transfer of Global Sanitation Graduate School courses to three universities in Nepal during his tenure at Kathmandu University. He has also secured key collaborations with organizations in Australia, Zambia, Bangladesh, and more, including obtaining the Strategic Collaborative Fund from the Stockholm Environment Institute. Academically, Er. Suman holds a Master’s degree from Northumbria University, UK (2013), a Professional Graduate Diploma in Sanitation from IHE-Delft as a Gates Fellow (2018), and is an Australia Awards Fellow at UTS Sydney (2023). He is also a valuable executive member of the 11^th Executive Committee (EC) of SOPHEN, where his expertise continues to contribute to advancing sustainable development initiatives in the WASH sector.
