Er. Preju Khanal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering at the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, Tribhuvan University. A dedicated research enthusiast, her interests include WASH, water and wastewater treatment, air pollution, climate resilience, environmental data analysis, and the application of GIS, remote sensing, and machine learning in environmental engineering. She has contributed to scholarly publications on rainwater harvesting, Himalayan freshwater resources, environmental protection in construction procurement, and catalytic pyrolysis of plastic waste within the circular economy. Professionally, she has worked as a Civil Engineer at Kathmandu Metropolitan City and contributed to the USAID Karnali Water Activity. She currently serves as a member of the 12th Executive Committee of the Society of Public Health Engineers, Nepal (SOPHEN).
